Five Minute Friday – Growth

We write bold and beautiful and free. Unscripted and unedited. We just write without worrying if it’s just write or not.

Growth

Start

During these first days of fall, I walked through the garden and realized the garden was getting old and tired.

This garden has grown, and bloomed,

and produced day after day after day.

Now is the ceasing,

the garden is growing brown,

it is withering,

the produce is sparse and small.

During the first days of fall, I found new beginnings

new growth

new promises

new hope

and the farmer still on his knees.

Stop

Adding pictures now.

  1. I love how you saw how your garden showed a cycle of growth that parallels our own growth in life between the end of one thing before the new growth. Thank you for sharing your insights!

  2. The garden is so handy for these 5 minute friday.
