August 1, Today’s Thought – Rendering Still

July 31 001Please let me interrupt this bath time to take a picture, thank you.

Good Morning,

Matthew 22:21
They say unto him, Caesar’s. Then saith he unto them,
Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s;
and unto God the things that are God’s.

Thoughts lingering from yesterday:
How am I supposed to render the things that are God’s to God?
What manifestation of God’s fruit of the spirit pleases God?

And the King shall answer and say unto them,
Verily I say unto you,
Inasmuch as ye have done it
unto one of the least of these my brethren,
ye have done it unto me.
Mathew 25:40

Romans 13:7-8,10

Render to all men their dues.[Pay] taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, and honor to whom honor is due.
Keep out of debt and owe no man anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor [who practices loving others] has fulfilled the Law [relating to one’s fellowmen, meeting all its requirements].
Love does no wrong to one’s neighbor [it never hurts anybody]. Therefore love meets all the requirements and is the fulfilling of the Law. Amplified Bible

Galatians 6:9-10

And let us not lose heart and grow weary and faint in acting nobly and doing right, for in due time and at the appointed season we shall reap, if we do not loosen and relax our courage and faint.
So then, as occasion and opportunity open up to us, let us do good [morally] to all people [not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage].
Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to God’s family with you, the believers]. Amplified Bible

2 Corinthians 9:6-7

[Remember] this: he who sows sparingly and grudgingly will also reap sparingly and grudgingly, and he who sows generously [that blessings may come to someone] will also reap generously and with blessings.
Let each one [give] as he has made up his own mind and purposed in his heart, not reluctantly or sorrowfully or under compulsion, for God loves (He takes pleasure in, prizes above other things, and is unwilling to abandon or to do without) a cheerful(joyous, “prompt to do it”) giver [whose heart is in his giving]. Amplified Bible

July 31, Today’s Thought-Render Unto God

july2212 duplication 002My heart yearns to walk in His paths,
according to His way marks.

Good Morning

Matthew 22:15-22

Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel
how they might entangle him in his talk.
And they sent out unto him their
disciples with the Herodians, saying,
Master, we know that thou art true,
and teachest the way of God in truth,
neither carest thou for any man:
for thou regardest not the person of men.
Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou?
Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said,
Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
Shew me the tribute money.
And they brought unto him a penny.
And he saith unto them,
Whose is this image and superscription?
They say unto him, Caesar’s.
Then saith he unto them,
Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s;
and unto God the things that are God’s.
When they had heard these words, they marvelled,
and left him, and went their way.

Render unto God the things that are God’s

What things of God do I possess?
The heart, soul, mind, and strength
Praise and thanksgiving
Time and Talents

Proverbs 3:27
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

Meditating, am I rendering to God all He desires and deserves?
Or am I withholding a part?
With my payers, desiring yours, Leslie
