Chatting on the Deck – Juice and Jingles

chatsonthefarmhouseporch

“Chats on the Farmhouse Porch” is a group of friends
gathering to visit,
sip their favorite beverages,
nibble delicious treats
and share their likes and dislikes.

Patrice and Wendell have invited me to join the chatting.
Patrice provides the questions,
we answer.

Are you looking forward to fall?

YES, I love the fall. tree nove 18Our beautiful undressing Maple tree.

What are the three best colors for you to wear, and the three worst?

This is hard, I have a very limited wardrobe. I like purple, teal, and black. Orange and pinks don’t do anything for me.

What is your favorite kind of juice? If you are not into juice, you can tell us your favorite flavor of soda, tea, coffee, Tang, mud, etc.

I like Tomato juice and Orange Juice.

Have you ever been in the hospital (at least an overnight)? You don’t need to share the ailment, but tell us what the longest time is.

When I was 19, I was in the hospital for 6 weeks, less a day to go to church.

Do jingles, songs from ads, and TV or movie themes stick in your head? Do you find yourself singing them? (This question means that I’m trying to find out if I’m the only crazy person who sings quirky stuff!)

That is easy, at random times, without any prompting, I break out with: “I’m an Oscar Meyer Wiener!” I could not resist adding this commercial,  Oscar Meyer Wiener, 1965.

Isn’t it fun to chat? Join us here.

  1. I enjoyed reading your answers to the chat this week! 🙂

    • thanks, Patrice chose good questions this week.

  2. I love those Oscar Meyer wiener commercials also! That really brings back some memories.

    • for sure!

  3. You mentioned the most popular song that many people remembered- Oscar Meyer Weiner. I think maple trees are so pretty. I can’t wait for fall colors on the trees.

    • Since so many of us know that jingle; we must be in the same generation. 🙂
