On Wednesday’s knitters go to Ginny’s to share all the wonderful projects being worked on, finished, frogged, cried over, and learned from. They also tell what they are reading and a little of the storyline or provoking thoughts. I think it is great. So many books, knitting ideas and hints on how to make knitting more enjoyable.
The Farmer and I ran away to the ocean on Wednesday, spent the night and back home Thursday evening. OH HOW, the pause of ocean watching, seeing the deep blues, walking in the wind, restores my soul. No pictures, camera dead; but if I shut my eyes I can still see the waves break against the rocks.
I’m still working on the afghan trio.
Here is a much nicer picture of afghan 1.
This is afghan 2 all finished and ready to give.
The body of afghan 3 is done. Then I thought the other two have ruffles . . .
A couple more dishcloths knitted and two little hats using Yarn Harlot’s Rolled Brim Hat Recipe (pattern in archives, October, 2004).
Lining with Ginny
The ruffles are a great finish!
thanks, I think so too , even though it seems to take forever to knit all the way around
