Outside my window…bright morning sun shine, an orchid crepe myrtle bursting with color and the cool breeze making the tree limbs sway

I am thinking…of the garden I will be picking ( the Farmer is unable to pick today due to a medical procedure yesterday) and what are we going to do with all those vegetables!

I am thankful for…’ears to hear’

From my learning rooms…I am learning to ‘listen’.

From the kitchen…making more Zucchini Bruschetta today

I am wearing…jean skirt and knit top

I am creating…trying to get back to my log cabin quilt

I am going…one row at a time :)

I am reading…too any wonderful blogs

I am hoping…I can last through the entire picking process, I’ve never had to do the picking before…

I am hearing…someone’s leaf blower (go away)

Around the house…dust bunnies are almost victorious

One of my favorite things…going to the ocean

I received a retrieve, cancel the garden picking, thank you , Farmer.

A few plans for the rest of the week: building a log cabin quilt, out-of-town memorial service for the Farmer’s uncle on Friday

Here is picture I am sharing…

Scripture:  trying to put into practice

“He taught them many things by parables, and in his teaching said: “Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed…

Still other seed fell on good soil. It came up, grew and produced a crop, multiplying thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times.”

Then Jesus said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.“  Mark 4:2-3,8-9
