On Wednesday’s knitters come to Ginny’s and Tami’s and share all the wonderful projects being worked on, finished, frogged, cried over, and learned from. they also tell what they are reading and a little of the storyline or provoking thoughts. I think it is great. So many books, knitting ideas and hints on how to make knitting more enjoyable.
Shelby’s Mochi Plus ruffled shawl starts with the ruffle, I have about 30 more short row repeats before I can start on the body (more short rows).
Hope’s Alpaca Sox shawl is working up nicely. A little pink for my taste, hopefully she will think it is wonderful, especially since Grandpa Red bought the yarn.
Babetta’s Yarn and Gifts, my favorite local yarn shop, had a sale.
I had had my eye on this pattern and Babetta had yarn.

I’m listening to Flash and Bones by Kathy Reichs – I like her stories, but the language is annoying.

I really am struck by the first shawl, that will certainly be a stunner when it is finished! Is there anything better than a yarn store sale? I doubt it.
I like the striped shawl….beautiful yarn …I haven’t read a Reichs book in quite a long time…I got bored with them
