On Wednesday’s knitters go to Ginny’s and Tami’s and share all the wonderful projects being worked on, finished, frogged, cried over, and learned from. they also tell what they are reading and a little of the storyline or provoking thoughts. I think it is great. So many books, knitting ideas and hints on how to make knitting more enjoyable.
This week, true ( can’t believe it) to my determination to finish shawls before starting more shawls. I FINISHED TWO! Pictures on Friday.
I am still knitting on and on and on and loving it.
Winter shawl is growing point by point the ruffle edging is knit first. I’ve found using a double pointed needle makes for easier knitting the back and forth short rows.
Noro is back. Remember, I ran out of beads doing the bind off. All frogged back, purchased complementary beads and binding off again. Hopefully this one will be finished by Friday, too.
Just a close up of the edging.
Muted Jazz is growing. I’ll start taking her with me again, now that Hope’s is finished. It is a great take a long and feels wonderful sliding through my fingers.
I’m reading ‘The Body Farm” by Patricia Cornwell. I like her stories, but would clean up Marino’s mouth, if I were writing it.
