December 5, Yarn Along — Yarn Nest

On Wednesday’s knitters go to Ginny’s to share all the wonderful projects being worked on, finished, frogged, cried over, and learned from. They also tell what they are reading and a little of the storyline or provoking thoughts. I think it is great. So many books, knitting ideas and hints on how to make knitting more enjoyable.

A Yarn Nest.dec5 004Have you ever seen a yarn nest?
After a trip to the dermatologist and skin cancer freezing and removal,
I didn’t feel like being very active,
So I gathered current knitting projects and knit a while on one then another,
all moving toward completion.

dec5 001Tilly’s sweater is coming together nicely, to bad the cables don’t show well with this yarn.
The sweater is knit flat and then seamed together under the belly.

dec5 002Kathi’s Solstice, restarted on larger needles. I’m liking the lacier look.

dec5 003Makenna’s wallaby, I usually have one on the needles.

I’ve been listening to Lauraine Snelling’s four book series, Ruby, Pearl, Opal and Amethyst, set in 1850’s in the Dakota badlands.
