Back in town, R & R over, trailer unpacked, things put away.
The trailer looks like it never moved.
I have done little all week and am tired. Huh?
Friday Fiction: Green
Write a brief bit of fiction involving money.
I remembered going to Sunday School as a small girl and having my offering tied in the corner of a hankie. The hankie was 100% cotton, not the permanent pressed ones of today. I was very careful not to lose the offering and held on tight to the hankie. By the time the offering basket was passed around and I had untied the knot, the hankie was is pretty sorry shape. The offering was all I had.
It belonged to Jesus.
August 13, Evening Tidbit
All children wear the sign: ‘I want to be important NOW.’ Many of our juvenile delinquency problems arise because nobody reads the sign.

How do you feel when you walk into your home after an out of town trip?
Walking in the front door, my home gives me a hug.
Walking from room to room reacquainting with my things;
I feel peace and contentment.
Seeing the familiar and the constant, I’m home.
Now if only I didn’t have to unpack and …..
Relaxing?
1dad1 and I left town on for a few day of R &R. I made sure the RV Park had internet access, we didn’t want to rough it too much. We arrived and got set up. The park is small and very quiet, except for the AC’s. Well, the server I got on was commador issued. Relaxing, no. I had to wait up to 3 minutes or more for a page to load, I could read, knit, fill my water glass, empty…
but relaxing it was not. 1dad1 ran a check disc and a defrag. That helped a little, sometimes. So today, he hooked me up to a different server. Much better, although now no time to ….
