So if my day was a shoe . . .

was it a…

  • ballet slipper – quiet & gentle, no harshness
  • high heeled, strappy & toeless – a little loud, a little pinchy & wanting to be seen
  • flip flops – comfortable, casual, but feet get a little dirty
  • steel toe boots – self protective, tough, can’t feel the gentle touches
  • athletic shoe – supportive, hard working, going the distance
  • house slippers – soft, comfy, but no protection
