March 5, Today’s thought – Come and see.

Feb 23 010Tulip

Good Morning,

Nathanael said to Philip,
“Can anything good come from Nazareth?”
Philip answered, “Come and see.” John 1:46

Nathanael’s question still lingers,
even tow thousand years later. . .
Can anything good come out of Nazareth?

Come and see.

Come and see the changed lives:

the alcoholic now dry,
the embittered now joyful,
the shamed now forgiven. . .
marriages rebuilt,
the orphans embraced
the imprisoned inspired . .

Come and see the pierced hand of God
touch the most common heart,
wipe the tear from the wrinkled face,
and forgive the ugliest sin.
Come and see.

He avoids no seeker.
He ignores no problem.
He fears no search.

Come and see.
Max Lucado ~~A Gentle Thunder

Come and See . . . Today
With my prayers, desiring yours, Leslie

I’m a Knit-A-Long Winner

Early this year in January I joined a Knit-a-long (KAL)
with Crissy at Stitched Together.
The hat was fun to knit and back to back cables
made for an interesting design.

If the knitter finished the hat and posted about the KAL,
the knitter’s name was entered into a drawing for a Stitched Together pattern
and stitch markers made by Crissy.
I won the drawing.
I received the pattern of my choice, another hat, by email.
Today when I went to the post office I found a package,
much bigger than was needed for a set of stitch markers.

Mar 4 stittched together 001 I have never received anything from the UK.

The package was packed!
I was so surprised. It felt like Christmas morning.
