Yarn Along – A Finished Shawl and Februay’s Yarn Scraps

On Wednesday’s knitters go to Ginny’s to share all the wonderful projects being worked on, finished, frogged, cried over, and learned from. They also tell what they are reading and a little of the storyline or provoking thoughts. I think it is great. So many books, knitting ideas and hints on how to make knitting more enjoyable.

  1. The shawl is beautiful! I love Wendy Knits! I will also have to add this to my queue! Thanks for sharing!

    • Thank you, It was a good knit, look at examples of those who added beads, it’s neat!

  2. I love making shawls! I have a huge yarn jar with ends in 🙂

    • I just started saving ends in January and this yea keeping each month separate then into large jar, thanks for visiting

  3. That’s beautiful. (don’t cats always look bored?)

    • Queen of bored! and thanks

  4. I love the idea of putting your yarn scraps in a jar!! Never thought of that. Better than strewn all over the house like they are here!

    • I saw this idea on another blog – grabbed it!
      thanks for visiting

  5. The cat looks so cozy sitting in the sun. I have MANY jars. I think I’ll start putting my scraps in them. Thanks.

    • I borrowed the idea from another bog it sounded like fun to me, thanks for stopping by.

  6. Did you stick with the book? It’s a favourite around here but I too found it a little hard to get in to.

    • I listen a little, then go to something else, maybe if I listen long enough, I’ll get over the hump–sometimes that happens, or not.
